On August 8, 2011, Jonathan and I celebrated our 8yr wedding anniversary! Wow has really been 8yrs already?! This past weekend we got to go out of town to celebrate...Thanks to Adriane for keeping Charlee and mom and dad for keeping Jud and Kenlee! We decided to go to Brevard, NC to see a few waterfalls! We actually had 5 falls on our list to visit but the weather didn't cooperate, but we had a great time anyways at the 2 falls we did get to see! We ended up at Hooker Falls first, it was very pretty and had an awesome swimming hole at the bottom of it! We plan to take the kids back there soon to swim, they would love it and it was an easy easy hike so they would have no problems walking it on their own!
Next we went to Triple Falls, the trail for it is right across the road from the trail for Hooker Falls! This was the most beautiful waterfall I have ever been too! It is actually (as you probably guessed) 3 waterfalls in a row! Amazing! The pictures I saw online did not do these falls justice at all!!!!! It was huge! I also can't wait to take the kids there...gonna make for some really good family pictures!!! All in all we had a great weekend and I am so grateful that I get to call Jonathan my husband!
Also we took a quick trip to Anderson this weekend so that I could get the tattoo that I have been wanting!!!! I chickened out in March, but actually got it done this weekend! and to my surprise it didn't hurt...a little uncomfortable in a few places but not bad! Thanks Todd for my tattoo...I LOVE IT!!!
